Bonnie Priest, Carbon Free Developments

Nick Heyward, Head of Energy Storage, Origami Energy

Steven Pottinger, Baillie Wind Farm
We set out to secure our debt using both Capacity Market income and merchant generating income. The former had not previously been accepted by a bank and the latter is extremely challenging. Snell Bridge assisted us (and our bank) in the fundraising process with a fine attention to detail and, perhaps most importantly, to the human aspects of the process. As such, Snell Bridge was essential to the success of the project.
Jeremy Taylor, CEO, Green Frog Power
From start to finish, Snell Bridge demonstrated the necessary financial, commercial and negotiating skills to ensure a successful outcome for the shareholders.
Joy Bainville, Bregal Capital
Snell Bridge is an outstanding adviser. Simon Robinson provided incisive advice, brilliant financial modelling, and was incredibly efficient and quick. Additionally, he is unflappable, calm and very sensible. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him.
Charles Macdonald, Rossie House Investment Management

Community Energy

Snell Bridge works closely with Local Energy Scotland to help deliver the Scottish Government's Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES).

Our recent experience includes assisting communities to negotiate with commercial developers; structuring shared ownership investments; raising community finance; restructuring community debt facilities; and selling interests in operating projects.

Snell Bridge was founded in 2012 by Simon Robinson.

After studying physics at Balliol College, Oxford, Simon started his career in the energy and mining teams at NM Rothschild in London before moving to Bridgewell, a mid-market investment bank, in 2002. He spent six years at Bridgewell working in M&A, corporate finance and corporate broking across a wide range of sectors for both public and private companies in the UK and overseas.

In 2008 he moved to Quayle Munro to specialise in renewable energy and subsequently moved to Edinburgh, where he is now based.
